Kimberley, BC
Situated in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Kimberley offers a breathtaking natural setting with scenic lakes, rivers, and natural hot springs, making it an ideal location for a peaceful and inspiring Feast of Tabernacles.
With cool autumn temperatures ranging from 5°C to 15°C (41°F to 59°F), the crisp mountain air and serene surroundings create a refreshing location for Feast-goers.
Kimberley has a rich mining history, with the Sullivan Mine operating from 1909 to 2001, producing lead, zinc, and silver. The town is also home to Canada’s first official Para-Alpine Training Centre, developed in partnership with the Kimberley Alpine Resort, the Feast site location.
The area boasts majestic mountain views, pristine lakes, and a welcoming small-town atmosphere, allowing attendees to enjoy fellowship in a quiet and distraction-free environment. Due to the off-season timing, Kimberley remains peaceful and unhurried, making it a perfect setting for worship and reflection.
An added advantage for U.S. attendees is the favorable exchange rate, with the U.S. dollar currently holding a 43vantage in Canada, making travel and accommodations more affordable.
With its stunning mountain landscapes, peaceful atmosphere, and strong sense of community, Kimberley provides a unique and enriching Feast experience.
